Links Championship entries now open

Elie Links Championship

Entries are invited for the 2019 Elie and Earlsferry Links Championships to be played over the Elie Links on Saturday 17 August.

To give the country’s top amateurs an opportunity to play in this prestigious amateur scratch golf event (first played in 1955) we have moved the date, in agreement with Scottish Golf, to avoid any conflict with alternative open competitions.

With an attractive first prize of £150 for the Gold Medal winner, the Links Championship has been won in the past by Walker Cup players, Scottish Internationalists, County players and the best golfers in the country. At that time of year the course plays true to its classic links nature and is always in excellent condition – a good, competitive day is guaranteed to all.

In addition to the main, scratch competition there is also a handicap alternative for the Silver Medal for golfers with a handicap limit of 12.

Michael leaves Elie for Holland

Michael Bradfield to The Dutch</4>

Michael Bradfield, PGA Professional and winner of the 2018 Second Year PGA Trainee of the Year will be leaving the Golf House Club, Elie on Saturday 9th February.

Michael who joined the Elie Starters & PGA team in March 2015 is heading to Holland to join The Dutch Golf Club outside Amsterdam.

We thank Michael for his hard work, diligence and accommodating attitude and wish him well with the challenges of his new role.
