How to get here
The under noted link will provide you with a map of the area which can be expanded or minimised as required.  Map

Parking
When you reach the top of the lane from the main street in Elie you will see the visitor parking on the left. Before going to the Clubhouse please visit the Golf Shop to organise trolleys, check your tee time and purchase any items such as a stroke saver that you require for your round. The golf shop staff will direct you towards the Clubhouse and the Starters Hut.
The Golf Shop (01333 330955) has a limited number of powered trolleys (£8) and golf clubs available for rent. If you require these please book in advance.

The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse has two entrances, the first as you come round to the front of the Clubhouse is the entrance for members of the Golf House Club and gentlemen visitors, the second which is round the north side of the Clubhouse is the entrance for members of the Elie & Earlsferry Ladies Golf Club and lady visitors.

Changing rooms including lockers and shower facilities are located for ladies at the first door on the left as you enter and for gentlemen are located past the hall lockers, turn left, and take the second door on your right.

There are four main function rooms in the Clubhouse. The Ladies Lounge is opposite the ladies locker room and is for the use of ladies only. The Mixed Lounge, which is next door to the Ladies Lounge, can be accessed from the main corridor and is for use by both ladies, gentlemen and juniors, whether members or visitors. This Lounge has a bar from which drinks and catering can be ordered. The Members Lounge is for the exclusive use of members of the Golf House Club and gentlemen visitors.

Security
The Golf House Club is not liable for the property of visitors so please look after your property at all times and do not leave visible valuables in unattended cars. Temporary lockable lockers are available in the Locker rooms.

The Starter
The Starter’s Hut is where you check in and pay any balance of green fees, obtain cards and receive any further information that you require. When it is your start time the Starter will tell you when to play away as he is able, by the use of the submarine periscope, to see when the players in front are out of range. You may not play till instructed by the Starter.

Slow Play & Etiquette
The enjoyment of a round of golf can be destroyed by slow play. Please be aware of players in front and behind you and if you are holding players up behind you and there is a gap of a hole in front of you then please let the players behind play through. As a guideline a fourball game should take no longer than three hours forty minutes.Slow play usually results from failure to clear the green promptly or from being unprepared to play your shot immediately it is your turn. Your co-operation in eradicating this malaise will be greatly appreciated.

Dress Code
On the Course players must be smartly attired and golf shoes must be worn. In particular jeans of any sort are not permitted and if men are wearing Bermuda- type shorts, knee length socks must be worn.

In the clubhouse golf shoes with soft spikes (clean) can be worn apart from the Male Members Lounge. In the Mixed Lounge and Ladies Lounge smart casual attire is required. Gentlemen visitors are welcome to use the Members Lounge as long as they are wearing a jacket and a tie.
