The Clubhouse
The clubhouse at The Golf House Club, clearly plays a very central role in the club, being, in effect responsible for the slightly unusual club name.
Recently, the building has enjoyed a major face lift, with over £1.25 million being spent to bring the amenities up to the highest specifications demanded today. Graham Scott, the secretary explains “a number of the rooms in the clubhouse were a little pokey and we have totally re-done the changing rooms and all the lounges, however, we have done very little to change the façade at the front of the clubhouse”.
There are in fact three lounges at the club – the gentlemen’s, the ladies and the mixed as well as the dining room.
The club is very happy to welcome both individuals as well as groups and apart from the normal breakfast, lunch and dinner, is happy to meet the any un-orthodox catering needs of members and visitors, so long as it has prior notice!
